Upper Endoscopy (EGD) Preparation

An upper endoscopy (EGD) allows your doctor to examine the lining of your esophagus, stomach, and upper small intestine. Preparation for this procedure is simpler than a colonoscopy.

Your specific procedure location, date, and arrival time will be provided by our office. These are general preparation guidelines — always follow the specific instructions given to you by your doctor.
